Formatting lost when placing Excel table in Indesign

Hello,

I am trying to import a simple Excel table into Indesign.

Using the Import options with Formatted table selected.

Still the table imports as a blank table without formatting (color, borders) and without the used font.

I am using an  Excel from Office 365. Als tried to save it as an xls.

Nothing works.

Did you say no to this absolutely ridiculous alert?

Dude!

Didn't even read the alert. Just pressed 'Yes'every time.

Thanks a lot!

It is absolutely the dumbest alert in the entire history of InDesign. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to speed up your workflow by slowing it down and defaulting it to yes.

LOL. Feels like I am the only one not reading it properly though.... couldn't find an answer anywhere. Glad you helped.
