I am trying to insert and run gif's in my 'interactive pdf,' but Leo is not able to raise his glass.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your response.

As already pointed out animated GIF is unsupported in PDF. This conversation has pretty much run its course so I'm going to lock it. If you have something else you need help with please start a new conversation.

you could convert your gif file to mp4 or mov and place it into pdf file

Thank you for your response.

Do you might know which Adobe app can convert such formats from gif to a mp4?

If you want to produce InDesign documents that include animations etc, that are easy to produce and work on most devices, have a look at InDesign's Publish Online (only available on InDesign CC2015 upwards).

Thank you for your response.

Another question, when clicking epub preview in indesign the gif works.

So, in theory, I can use gifs, but need to load it as an epub.

Is epub from adobe?

Fixed Layout EPUB will work with Apples Books app. Other readers have varying levels of support.
