There is almost no reason in the world to convert text to outlines anymore, but if you absolutely have no choice, export a PDF and do it in Acrobat.

In Acrobat, go to Tools> Print Production> Preflight and run the preflight fixup "Convert fonts to outlines" if the arrow still disappears, you may need to flatten the pdf first, Tools> Print Production> Flattener Preview, and select the "convert all strokes to outlines" option. First check with your printer, they may have updated their specifications and no longer require outlined fonts.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
