Question

Good Adobe "bitmap" font for printing @ 12pt on a dark/black background ?

I'm looking for a "bitmap" style font to represent text on a screen, and tried LoRes 12 OT. The text will be several colors, including red.

However, this is being physically printed at 12pts-ish, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a slighly bolder version of something like from Adobe that will remain fully legible when printed. It will be printed on stock that doesn't gain much.

Also looking for one with the A style like this:

I'm trying the alternates of LoRes, but any other suggestions appreciated.

thanks!

Not Adobe, specifically, but you can find a whole stack by searching for for 'pixel font', eg: https://www.dafont.com/bitmap.php has 60 pages worth.

On that list, Ari-W9500, Windows, M42 Flight 721, or Pixel 12x10 seem to fit the bill

How about https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/ibm-plex-mono?

You can go to https://fonts.adobe.com/, Browse all, and then search by tags for more options. I found the one above using the Typewriter tag
