¡GPU Performance Blocked in InDesign 2026! An Absurd and Unacceptable Monitor Resolution Limitation

I am writing this post to express my deepest dissatisfaction and outrage regarding the performance management in the latest InDesign 2026 update.

It is completely unacceptable for professional software to restrict my workflow based solely on my monitor's resolution. I own an excellent workstation equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 dedicated graphics card. This hardware is more than capable of handling any editorial project seamlessly.

Yet, due to an absurd development decision, InDesign 2026 completely blocks hardware acceleration (GPU Performance), displaying the message: "No compatible monitor and GPU detected." My peripherals and the resolution I choose to work with are my decisions; Adobe should not care about or condition them. It is unheard of that for the software to run decently, users are practically forced to buy a new monitor or rely on virtual rescaling workarounds.

Instead of optimizing the code, we are forced into useless, unnecessary, and bloated updates that drain resources and hinder productivity. If I pay for a professional subscription, I expect professional solutions, not arbitrary limitations that leave me working with constant lag while relying solely on my CPU.

This situation is the last straw. If Adobe's solution to powerful hardware is to ignore the issue, my solution will be to start looking for stable software alternatives to completely stop relying on your ecosystem. My workflow and my time are worth more than your poorly optimized patches.

I expect a clear response from technical support and an urgent update that removes this artificial GPU restriction.
