Hand tool and Zoom tool shortcuts not working in InDesign 18.0

Question

I just upgraded to InDesign 2023 (18.0), only to discover the toggle shortcuts for both the Hand tool (spacebar) and Zoom tool (spacebar + cmd) are not working.

I was, and still am, running OS X Monterey (12.6.1).

Nothing else has been changed else in my system, and rebooting does not help. Any insights or help would be appreciated.

They're working fine for me on InDesign 2023 (18.0). You can try resetting your preferences file to see if that will fix it.

Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
