Having a weird issue with headers

Could someone please help me with this header?   I'm setting up a template for manuals.  I've set up master pages, and TOCs and all the styles I intend to use with no problem.   On of my styles is for the header.  I want it right aligned, with an underule.  It is also linked to my chapter titles, so I'm using  <Running Header> It looks great on the master page.

My problem when I apply the master page  the header left aligns.  It picks up the text for the chapter fine, but it's on the wrong side of the page.  I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this.

Any suggestions?

What do you have in the ParaStyle definition for alignment - isn't it set to "away from spine"?

Hi @Lorrieann:

For double-sided documents this is a great feature: instead of using two different styles, one for the left pages and one for the right pages, you can set your paragraphs to either align towards the spine or away from the spine.

You are showing us a right hand page I believe, and if the alignment is set towards spine, it's going to move to the left on the right pages and the right on the left pages. If you used the buttons instead of the list that Robert shared, it's a super easy mistake. Both icons show the text aligned to the right, but that vertical line to the right of the last one indicates it's align to spine.

The style requested has the header on the right on all pages, so I only needed the one.   I did find that setting and set it to right, and that has solved the problem.    Thank you for your help.

All are set to align right.    I did not see a setting for away from spine, where is that?
