Help! Book won't print.

Hi Guys - any idea what is going on here? My InDesign Book file looks like it is about to print to PDF, then gets to page 72 (out of 89) and stops developing.

Here is the error message:

%%[Page: 70]%%

%%[Page: 71]%%

%%[Page: 72]%%

%%[ Error: limitcheck; OffendingCommand: gsave ]%%

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

Appreciate any thoughts regarding this - I have been checking the individual files; there may be some links not synced...

Regards, db

Stop printing to PDF and use export. Postscript and distill (which is what you're doing) is an archaic method of PDF creation.

    It’s in the book panel.

    Hi Danny,

as a workaround, try to export to PDF/X-4 and print that from Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Reader.

What's your version of InDesign on what operating system?

    Regards,
    Uwe

Uwe, the OP is trying to create a PDF, not actually print the file so we don't know the intent for output, yet.

Intent for output was just a proposal PDF.

Thanks Bob - Clarification - I was exporting to PDF, not printing. I can export top PDF every single chapter separately, (all 23 of them) but not as a single book...

Don't print to PDF, instead Export to PDF/X-4 or whatever your printer specs.

Usually single pages (not spreads) and tick Use Document Bleed Settings.

Thanks Derek - I actually was trying to export it , not print.
