Help! Can't type "y" and will strip styles when I type it.

When I type the letter "y" it won't show, and it occasionally removes all styling of my text. I have checked GREP and don't have anything set up. I also have broken the link to all styles, but I can't type the letter "y" still. It's only for one file in particular. 😞
