Help! My TOC levels are in the wrong order!

Hi!

I have a small TOC with two levels. It has a chapter and then a header, a chapter then a header... I have made TOC paragraph styles for these and I have them assigned as level 1 and 2 accordingly. When I apply my style my header is placed before my chapter and I don't know what to do, can anybody help me?

Also, It seems as if I can't remove the character style i have on a part of my header in the TOC. I have thought of making it a paragraph style instead but then i have the other problem; how can I have two paragraph styles in one header and still have it look as one in the TOC?

If anyone can help me, It would be much appreciated.

Hi Sewde:

Yes, we can help. Are the chapter titles in separate frames from the headers? A screen shot with text threads visible would help, along with a screen shot of your TOC dialog box.

On to part II, Is the TOC in the same file as the content?

Looks a lot like Indesign. So I'm moving the thread there. In the future, you should always tell us about your product an version, so that a helping hand can adequatly advise.
