Help! Period in Name after Dot Leader Tab is forcing text to next line

Hello, I am designing a theatre program in InDesign 2025 and always use a dot leader when listing scenes. However, I have a name AFTER the dot leader tab with a period in it -  "Mr."  When I tab with the dot leader without using the period after Mr, it aligns fine, however, when I use the period after MR, that forces the rest of the listing to the next line. I don't have "align on" set with a period. I just don't know how to stop this from happening and still be able to use the period in the Mr title and use a period for the dot leader. First example without period, 2nd example with period. I can't figure out how to fix this! Thanks!

You have a decimal tab marker placed at the right side, so when you hit Tab, it positions the period at that location. Should be a right align (Right Justified) tab marker.
