Help [with InDesign 2022 on a Mac]

This Indesign 2022 is just a mess. Really impacting our publishing business. It has SO many glitches--black lines and images warbling whenever you scroll, full-screen and back from preview mode glitches, we are having export issues where the blacks are not exporting properly. How could such a mess be released as stable? Frustrating!

There have been a lot of posts about using InDesign 2022 on a Mac with:

  • the new M1 processor
  • the new Monterey OS

I also read about problems when using an external monitor. Another common suggestion was turning off the GPU preference.

Have you scanned any other posts?

Are you on a Mac? If so, I ran first aide on my drives and it seemed to clean up many issues. Now just relearning where everything new that has been added to the programs. But it is all there.

Didn't work. It seems to work a bit better on my main monitor (imac pro screen), but fails on second monitor, which we have to use as it is the one that is pro for color, photography, etc.
