I work with a newspaper editorial team that currently uses synching to share assets to produce our weekly publication. In a nutshell our process is: We use InCopy to import text into InDesign where our designer adds images from Bridge and then creates a review document in InDesign for proofing the layout before going to press. What are your suggestions to adjust our workflow if we don’t have synching capabilities? Will the InDesign Review pdf be affected by the remove of synching?

If you really need it, you could switch to another cloud service, such as OneDrive/Sharepoint or Dropbox.

Would Google Drive work?

Yes. That would be the easiest to set up. The Google Drive software allows up to three accounts at once so you could create a new Gmail account and have everyone sign in with that account. That way everyone will have access to the files. Then you just have to make sure you leave enough time for the files to upload to the cloud after being changed, and then to download to everyone else's computer.

Most of the Cloud services should work fine.

I currently save all InDesign documents, InCopy files and Photos (in Bridge) in the Creative Cloud Files which is synched from my desktop. The email I received from Adobe last week said that Creative Cloud Files will no longer be synched so what am I not understanding?

@sunedproduction

I meant other Cloud services - Dropbox, Google, Microsoft, etc.
