hi, indesign won't open its indd tutorial files please help urgent

Sorry to hear about your experience. I agree with earlier responses. Please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe InDesign. Also, you may share some of the sample files with us to have a look at.

Sounds like you have a version of ID older than the tutorials were designed to support. That error message was typical back around CS5 as I recall.

Please provide the exact version of InDesign that you are using as well as your operating system. Also a screen shot of the exact alert you get when you try and open the file would be helpful. Plus please report whether this problem is happening with all files or just one in particular.
