High quality display performance with missing illustrator files
Whenever I select highg-quality display performance I can see no more ai-Files or parts of ai-Files. I am working with Indesign 2021 16.4 with OS 10.14.6

Sorry to hear about your experience. Do you see this behavior while working with some specific files? What happens if you disable the GPU Performance under Preferences?
