Hindi Font not working in the latest InDesign

Well, my initial advice for basically all persons working in complex scripts in InDesign is to roll back to 18.5. Your case is special, as Krutidev fonts aren't Unicode fonts, and the workaround these fonts use for Devanagari character composition (assigning Devanagari glyph shapes to Latin-script codepoints, and using the Private Use Area for precomposed glyphs) may not always work in all contexts. It's possible that this is an error unique to your install of InDesign; we haven't seen any other posts here about Krutidev fonts, and given their widespread usage, I'd expect more posts like yours. So you might want to consider rebuilding your preferences before concluding that custom-encoding fonts like Krutidev don't work in InDesign 2024.

However, if you want to go back to the previous version of InDesign so you can go back to work right away, that's not hard at all. If you go to the "Apps" section of the Creative Cloud app, you will find three small dots next to the "Open" button for InDesign. That's where you can select "Other Versions" to reinstall InDesign 2023 (18.5). 

What type of font is it? T1 fonts are not supported any more. 

Does your InDesign version support Hindi fonts?  There exists an Indic version. Did you install it?
