How can I type numbers in squares for CD tracks? Specifically InDesign.

Any guidance appreciated on how to enter numbers in squares without constructing the square? All the responses seem to be for squared number superscripts, which is not the same. Also any idea how to search fonts for these characters? There are no repertoire lists any more as far as I can tell.

Correct answer Dirk Becker

I'd start at Japanese "Gothic" fonts.

Dirk Becker, thanks so much. I looked at many glyph repertoires but didn't think of checking Japanese!

While there are certainly scripts and other tricks to do this, Dirk's is the best way. Find a font designed that way.
