How do I clear prefs with InDesign 2017

Normally holding down CMD+Opt+Ctrl+Shift when launching works but since the update that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I've recently upgraded to MacOS Sierra.

    And, Darrella, before you uninstall/reinstall, try the manual deletion of the prefs file from the article I posted. It takes less time:

    Same as before, but it's always been a timing issue. Press down the keys as soon as you start InDesign. From my double-check on 2017, just now on my Mac:

    I've found it easier, with InDesign in the Mac Dock to press all four keys and then click the ID icon in the dock.

    This brings up a contextual menu that has "Open" under Options.

    No mad dash to cram my fingers on the right keys.

    I don't know if there's an equivalent for the Task Bar in Windows.
