How do I eliminate coloured background on transparent logo occurring when pdf printed

I have a transparent logo that appears fin on the pdf, but when printed a slightly lighter coloured background appears behind the logo, with the frame border obvious outlined.

I will attach page when advised how to do so please.

Thank you Bob,

That worked in that it eliminated the YDB, but it seemed to move everything

I had on the page to the right more so they are now partially off the page

when printed.

Also I did not get the option to choose *Composite CMYK, as there was

only **Composite

RGB available*

Sounds like you're printing to a non- postscript desktop printer using spot colors. Stop using spots for such a purpose.

If this is going to press, get a proof from the printer.

Is the logo a raster image (png or psd would retain transparency) from Photoshop or a vector image created in Illustrator or  InDesign? You can attach an image by clicking on the icon in the reply box shown in the screen shot below:

The image is a psd format. I will attach as suggested, plus my problem page
