how do I remove/hide the little "T"s icons that appear on every text box that I have effects, etc on in indesign?

I understand what they're there for, but Its really distracting when Im trying to layout a page. I know I can hide them when I hide my guides - but I need my guides to work with. Thank you.

You can hide frame edges (View > Extras menu) if you just want to hide the icon.

The icon indicates that alternative text has been automatically added to the photo. If you don’t want that feature, turn off the Generative AI preferences.
