Hi,

Can somebody tell me how to type special characters like é â etc in indesign with an Mac 2016 touchbar edition?

    You can also try the normal way through Alt key etc, though I don't know if it works in all Adobe apps. How to type French Accents on a MacBook Pro - MacInfo

    You use the Glyphs panel (as you would use with any InDesign version). Type > Glyphs. Double-click a glyph to insert it.

    Adobe application have no special features associated with a touchbar.
