Whenever I prepare multi-page documents like certificates, I need to convert all text to outlines page by page. How can I do this all at once? InDesign only allows me to select one page at a time.

Outlining text in InDesign can cause problems. It it best done, if at all, in Acrobat.

Why do you need to convert outlines? Should not be necessary.

I've save my certificates as PDF and use Acrobat to save as separate pages for distribution.

Converting to outlines can destroy other information, like paragraph rules, underlines etc.

It's not good practice to convert everything to outlines - the feature is really there for particular cases and one-off scenarios.

Your best for converting to Outlines for the whole file and retain all the formating is with Acrobat

in acrobat go to Preflight   - click the icon that is green beside the search widnow

Search for outline

Doing it this way also means that the text in your layout is editable should you need to make changes.

If you convert your Indesign file to outline you can no longer make amendments unless you keep a live version of the text somewhere.
