How I can create data merge with many data-field placeholders

Hello,
I have used data merge many times to create a simple documents like business cards, name tags etc. In those documents we usually have 5 to 10 placeholders like Name, Family name, Company, Address etc...
But now I have to use data merge for a different type of documents - catalogues 40 to 100-pages, which and each catalogue contains up to 5.000 prices. The prices are different according the country and there are 10 countries in total. So I have following database:

At the end I need to generate one document per each country.

Considering that there can be up to 5000 prices, using the standard data merge would not work, because when I merge the sourse with Indesign, I will get 5000 data-field placeholders and would be very dificuilt to find them and insert them at the right place. Is there a way to simplify the looking between the many placeholders, as I know they cannot be organised by gropus or something like that?

Thank you in advance for any hunt 🙂

best regards,

Rositsa

This sounds like a job for one of the many availabe third-party catalog plug-ins.
I use EasyCatalog, but I know there are several other goods ones. For your pricing fields, it has an option that allows you to globally substitute one field for another. This way you can create all of your versions from one master document.
