How to activate an old CS2 version of InDesign

I have an old version (circa 2005) of InDesign which has worked well until last month when my computer crashed.  Having installed it again on my new computer, I am unable to activate it.  It was a single purchase, I do not have an account with Adobe but I just want to be able to access the program.  There must surely be a simpl

Sorry, as far as I know, there is no way.

The activation servers are down for several years now.

 

There once was a substitution version available with a special activation key, but this is gone.

Also for some years now.
