How to Activate Futura PT and test on InDesign

Hey, can you activate Futura PT from Adobe fonts and use it on InDesign

Steps:

  1. Find Futura PT
  2. Activate full family
  3. Open inDesign
  4. Create a new text tool
  5. Choose ‘Futura PT’ from the dropdown

    Is the font showing as activated in the fonts section of your Creative Cloud desktop app? Even if it is showing as activated it might be useful to try signing out from Creative Cloud and then signing back in again with your Adobe ID. As crude and unsophisticated as this process is it has been shown to be effective with issues of fonts not activating properly.

    I can! If you can’t, then there’s a decent chance that you have some Futura PT installed elsewhere on your system. That’s your most likely issue. If that’s not it, can you perhaps describe what happens instead, when you follow those instructions?
