Is it not possible to add a button with a possibility to download another PDF in an interactive PDF?

    Correct answer Luke Jennings

I shal deliver a task as a PDF at school. The teatchers need to see a brand manual I have in another paper format and saved as PDF

The easiest way would be to include the 2nd PDF as an attachment to the first pdf.

In Acrobat go to View> Show/Hide> Navigation Panes> Attachments. Drag & drop your 2nd PDF onto the attachments panel to add it as an attachment. Save.

You can set the Attachment panel to automatically open when the PDF is opened by setting the file display preference: File> Properties> Initial view> Navigation Tab> Attachments & Page. Save. That way, the person who opens the PDF will see that an attachment has been included. You can also create a button that can open the Attachment panel.

If your PDF is too big to include as an attachment, upload it to DropBox, WeTransfer, or some other site, copy its address, then provide a link to it in the first PDF, or make a button that opens the link.
(Acrobat will recognize an address that starts with "www." as a link by default).

In Acrobat, you can attach a file, including PDF, to a master PDF. Then you can create a button that links to the attached PDF. The user would click button in master PDF, which opens the attached PDF.

Another way would be to add an "add image" button in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. This button is not available in InDesign but IS available in Acrobat:

Once added, this acts as a button so that anyone using the PDF can add an attachment to their interactive form.

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

You're going to need to provide a lot more information on what you're trying to accomplish.

I have made a document in Indesign.

I want to make a button so that it is possible to download another PDF I have made.

I need to save it all as a PDF,- interactive I guess, but can't find a way to do it?
