hi where we can add a number for each page automatically?

  1. Make a master/parent page based on your standard layout.
  2. Be sure that you have a top level layer, otherwise it will happen that the page number will be hidden by content like images or other frames.
  3. Make a text frame outside the border frame, but inside the page edge.
  4. Type > Insert Special Characters > Marks > Current Page Number.
  5. Apply this master/parent on those pages where you want to have the page number.

You must create a text frame on the parent (formerly master) page(s) then go to the text menu > insert special character > markers > current page number

Place the auto page number on an upper layer on the Parent page. 

Auto Page number is created by Type > Insert Special Character > Markers > Current Page Number
