How to Adjust Gap Size When Creating a Grid with the Frame Tool in InDesign

how can I change the gap when creating a grid (using frame tool together with arrows on keyboard...?)

When you create the grid of frames, keep the mouse button held down.

Use Cntl or Cmd + Up/Down arrows to adjust the vertical spacing.

Use Cntl or Cmd + Left/Right arrows to adjust the vertical spacing.

Then you can use the Gap tool (4th one down from top of toolbar) to adjust the size of the frame columns or rows as a group.

The gap is the same as the guter width defined in the Document Setup dialog.
