How to apply page numbers above an image in InDesign?

How do you give the page number above the photo? In InDesign

Cause the page number is hidden under the catalog pictures

Correct answer Frans v.d. Geest

Create a new Layer, keep that layer on top and place the Master page item (but only those) on that top layer. Use other layers for the elements on your document pages.

Layers are document wide in InDesign so a new layer created would be present on all the pages. For more details on how to create, use and other information about layers can be gained from the following link
