how to change color of imported Png in adobe in design?

i have a problem of changing color of vectores that i importe to my indesign document, is there a way to change color without using photoshop?, can we color overlay in indesign?

Hi @Ibrahim29985365wk0y , You can cut and paste some kinds of vectors between Illustrator and InDesign. In order to get that to work you have to setup the application’s Clipboard preferences to keep the vectors. See this post:

Also, image files that are saved as flattened Grayscale or 1-color Bitmaps can be colored with InDesign. See this:

If the file being imported is a png then it is not vector but raster. That means that specific changes in color within the image will need to be done in Photoshop. If the original object was created in illustrator then it should be saved as .ai or even pdf in order to maintain its vector form and be fully editable in Illustrator.
