How to Control Export PDF for web

Hi,

I have to export a programme booklet for web-view. The booklet contains logos, text and imagery. When I choose smallest file size the booklet comes out at 4 MB which is okay for this booklet. The imagery looks great on screen but it is compressed. For the imagery this is fine but some logos also get compressed and are not readable anymore. I only have the logos as png or jpg files otherwise I would have used Vector. If I increase the quality of the compression the file gets too big in size.

My question is, is there a way of exporting the pdf with the imagery compressed to 72 dpi but the logo files at 150 for instance. Can I give the files a tag or something?

Thankyou!

Is there not a way you can get better resolution versions of the logos in question, then when you compress them they will be of a better quality..?

No, that's why I'm asking this question. Allot of times clients send their logo as a png or jpg. When we ask for a vector they ask what is a vector or they don't reply and they already paid so I got to work with what I have.

I know workarounds, but I'm just wondering if there is a way to do it strait from INDD.
