How to copy objects from one page to the next, while retaining location on page?

Hi Max,

if you talk about two text frames stacked on each other you can automatically achieve this with text wrap, inset spacing and auto grow of the frames.

Also consider that you can anchor all objects with text in text frames so that the objects flow with the text.

Hello, i think the best way is the object style and if you want to change something just change the settings in the object style and all objects with the the style will be update

Paste in Place would be the correct option - however, won't work on Facing Pages if you need to paste on left and right pages.

You can note the XY coordinates in the upper left.

So you could put them on a Parent Page and apply that Parent page to the pages that need these objects.

You would need to place them on both left and right Paren Pages.

Then apply the Parent Page. 

The advantage here is that you only need to adjust the Parent Page to make changes on all pages.

In terms of exact distances - you can use Align/Distribute Panel

Edit > Paste in Place. The Mac shortcut is Command-Option-Shift V. You can edit this shortcut.
