How to Create Dynamic Headers for Shared Documents Across Multiple Books in InDesign?

I currently have a 1 book created with let's say 5 documents.  The title for this book is for example ALL. In the page templates of the documents the header section states you are reading the ALL book. Document 1 of 5 I would like to hold the master pages, for the other documents to follow. So it would have the other 4 documents show ALL in the header for example.

Now. I want to create a second book called Mini.  Mini will have its own first document of 3 and use only 2 of the same documents that ALL uses. However I want the documents to say in the header you are reading the Mini Book.

Is there a method to have the page template take information from another document rather than in its master pages section within the document?

In the 2nd book - you just set a different "source" file - and synchronise Masters.

Or:

No. You will have to build it. Why not build a second set of Parent (master) Pages that says Mini?
