How to create leaders in table cells?

I have a table in which there are a several cells to which I'd like to add an underscore leader following some words, for users to write in data. How can this be accomplished? I can set the tab position and leader as normal, but of course when hitting the tab key, because it's a table, the cursor jumps to the next cell, it doesn't set the leader. Any ideas?

That will insert a tab, but I don't see any method of ascribing a leader to it.

Use the tab panel to adjust the positon of the tab and add the leader

To type a tab inside a table cell, use Option+Tab (Mac) For PC, it will be a different modifier key.

Thanks, I tried that; unfortunately our IT ~~Stormtroopers~~ Dept. have our PCs configured and locked down so that Windoze keyboard commands override any in-application keyboad command.
