Sure, thanks! I „just“ want to make a letterhead-logo. So I could use Word (probably not, though) or InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator. I am not fluent in any of these, but have worked the most with InDesign, so I would prefer that. Thanks, Ulrich

It could probably be done in InDesign. I just added a few layers of different weights of Myriad Pro and different opacities or tints. You probably want to turn the letter into outlines like I did. It can't be done as an automatic effect.

But your original seemed to have a texture applied as well. You couldn't do that easily in InDesign. You could save as a PDF and open in Photoshop to do the texturing there.

That looks like several different fonts (or weights, at least) over each other at varying levels of opacity.

    Oh, so it would have to be done manually, letter by letter as some kind of overlay? I was hoping for some kind of effect I could apply… ;(

    What software are you using? We could have a moderator move your question to a software-specific forum and folks there could give ideas.
