Sure, thanks! I „just“ want to make a letterhead-logo. So I could use Word (probably not, though) or InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator. I am not fluent in any of these, but have worked the most with InDesign, so I would prefer that. Thanks, Ulrich

It could probably be done in InDesign. I just added a few layers of different weights of Myriad Pro and different opacities or tints. You probably want to turn the letter into outlines like I did. It can't be done as an automatic effect.
But your original seemed to have a texture applied as well. You couldn't do that easily in InDesign. You could save as a PDF and open in Photoshop to do the texturing there.
