how to crop a PDF in indesign 2024

I have just moved over to indesign 2024. I used to be able just to click on the edge of a PDF and crop it. But since moving to indesign 2024 when i do this it shrinks the PDF rather than cropping off the bits i dont want ..

any suggestions??? TIA
