How to do Navigational index for an interactive PDF

I'm trying to have an Navigational TOC on my indesign document.

I separated each line in the TOC and applied a button action to "go to page", but when I'm exporting to an interactive PDF, I'm getting this message.

Anyone can help please.

That message is pretty clear. Did you create the TOC using the automated tools in InDesign?

If so, bookmarks are created for a PDF so you wouldn't need to go through all the work of creating buttons for this.

That was the best scenario, but had different paragraph styles for the most of the pages.

Had to place the exact line in the index on each page indicating it to as an invisible text with a paragraph style.

    But yes, now it works.

You can create paragraph styles for the TOC and assign them when creating it.
