how to easily rotate an image around a circle in InDesign

have been using InDesign pretty sure over 20+ years. before that I used Quark Xpress & recently wanted to rotate an image around a circle & remembered Quark had something called Super Step & Repeat. I’m not as fluent in Illustrator so hoping there’s a way to do that same thing as easily in InDesign as it was in Quark so many years ago. Thanks for helping me figure out how to do this task.

If this is what you mean, just select the rotate tool and option+click on the point you want it to rotate around, choose the degree of ration and select copy. Then repeat x times to make the full circle.

Do you mean you want to repeat the image around a circle? No such ability as such that I know of in InDesign. Perhaps someone has made a script that does what you want.

Illustrator would definitely be the easier way to do this.
