How to enlarge content (text, photo) along with page enlargement? HELP!!!

unproportionally scaling, x=100, y=104.6 is not desired, I think.

So I ruled out using a script like MultiPageImporter.jsx.

I can also recommend a script from Id-Extras called QuickResize. Here's a link:

I can suggest a possible work-around. Create a new, one page (facing pages) InDesign file at at the desired final size and use this improved MultiPageImporter.jsx script to place and position the original InDesign file into the new InDesign file using the settings shown in the screen shot. (the script works equally well with PDFs and InDesign files) Windows> Utilities> Scripts> Select the script and choose run script from the fly-out menu. This script will allow you to re-size the placed InDesign file. Export to a new PDF. Alternately, you can scale a PDF to a specified size in Acrobat using a preflight fixup.

If you decide to adjust the positioning for each page to avoid distorting the design, the tool Object> Transform again could save some time.

Hm. The new size is not proportionally scaled to the old size.

So I guess, that an automated process with placed PDFs in a new document is not very likey to work.

Can you show screenshots of a typical spread with frame edges showing, guides showing and hidden characters showing?

Do images or other elements run into bleed?

this is a very peculiar problem. Not easy to answer.

It highly depends on the setup of your document and the exact version of InDesign you have.

What is your page size now?

What is the desired page size?

Could the new page size be gained if you scale a page proportionally?

Then you could export all pages to PDF/X-4 with no image downsampling, do a new document with the new page size and then place the PDF/X-4 page by page to the new document. There is a script for this that can automate the process. But if that works is unclear because you did not tell the exact version of your InDesign. Also the operating system is of interest.
