Hello
How can I export print booklet to pdf in indesign in mac?

Correct answer Arian Taheri

Hi Abhishek,

Yes, I was able to find a solution to the issue.

I exported the file from Adobe InDesign using the desired settings as a PostScript (.ps) file. Then, I opened that file with Adobe Distiller to generate a PDF. This way, I was able to successfully create a booklet-style PDF output.

Hope this helps others as well.

In addition to other suggestions:

You can try to install a virtual PDF printer and see if it works with the booklet feature as expected. Look up PDF Printer, VipRiser, and PDFwriter (some of them require a payment to unlock all options).

Short answer, you don't. You can load a postscript PPD and print to PDF but honestly, there are far better workflows.

Is the printer demanding this? If this is for in house, export a proper PDF and print it using the booklet feature in Acrobat.
