How to Fix Image Not Turning Black and White When Using Blend Mode in InDesign

why isn’t my image turning black and white if the the blend mode is on luminosity and the box is filled in black??see below

You can also select the Graphic and apply the Luminosity to the image rather than its container:

Hi ​@hendy_5450, Make sure there is a white filled object behind the image, and your Transparency Blend Space is set to RGB. (Note that if the output is to an offset press running 4 CMYK plates the black and white image will separate to all 4 plates)
