How to import indesign tables into different indesign file

Hi,
I created my tables in a different InDesign file, but when I copy and paste them into another file's text frame, they act a bit weird. They don’t respect the spacing before and after from the text frames.

I wanted to check if there’s a correct way to do this.

More Context.

As you can see, when I paste the table inside the frame, it doesn’t respect the H3’s space after. For some reason, it also adds an extra line between the H2 and the table. When I remove that line, my H2 suddenly changes its style. I hope this provides more clarity.

Are those settings identical in the h3 and h2 styles in both documents?

No, in the other file (where the table comes from) there are differnt styles
