Please help before I get to many red spots:

I am using cloud cc 2019 and win 10. Recieving nice looking pdf files and konverting them into
indesign I get a low res. file. Why 😞

I have used all the CC programs from the beginning in 1999? and till cc 2019.

Please help me!

With best regards from Preben Labo, Denmark

Just have your correspondent send you the PNG file from Illustrator and place it (File > Place) directly. Don't use the PDF. You can view its resolution in the Info panel (Window > Info). The resolution will be the same if you're using the image at the original size. If you scale it larger, the resolution will be decreased, If you scale the image smaller, it will increase the resolution.

Uh... an Illustrator logo as PNG? PNG is raster bitmap, depends on how large and with what resolution it was exported as PNG.

Ask for the PDF or AI instead, that remains vector.

What do you mean by converting PDF to InDesign? Please tell us exactly what you have been doing. It's not something that can be done in InDesign by itself (it can only Place the PDF as a graphic). There are third-party applications that can do a conversion (from Marzware and Recosoft).

Sorry. I mixed two different questions - please forget about it

New question: I recieve a pdf file of a logo, created in Illustraitor in

    png format.

When I open the pdf file in my InDesign dokument, it has a very low

    resolution - not useable

for Press quality. Can you explain why? I have never had that problen

    before.
