How to make image appear on the top corners on an InDesign document?

I am trying have these two images appear on the top corners but instead i have empty boxes with color samples on the bottom of them, any idea how to get the images to appear?

I agree with @jmlevy: so select one of the frames and try out the first three options under Object > Frame Fitting. One of them should be what you are looking for.

My first guess is that these pictures are extremely enlarged in InDesign and that what you see are some pixels, located at the edge of the picture.
