How to make InDesign use the same PDF export settings for the same document each time?

Hi everyone,

I know that some things changed regarding PDF exports from InDesign... in the sense that, prior to the latest version of InDesign CC 2019, individual documents would retain the same PDF export settings that were used the last time for the SAME document, but now with ID CC 2019 the same PDF export setting that was last used (for any document) is also used for ANY document that follows afterwards.

How can I change this behaviour so that the SAME settings are used for the SAME document each time I export to PDF? It is wasting me sooooo much change having to change the settings each time when I have to re-export the same document to PDF.

Thank you in advance for your help

Christine
