Hi!

I have a question about how showcase the final design to look like an actual catalog or booklet where you can see the pages, the staples, and the layout looks exactly like a real  photo of a soft cover catalog. I have attached some examples of what I mean.

I am not looking for how to create the actual catalog in indesign because there are many tutorials for this. I am looking for how to present or design the final product to look like the real booklet as it were printed and placed on a table and then opened ( similiar to the attached images that I see)

Thanks so much for your help, this has been a hard topic to find a tutorial for!

This forum is for single issues, it's beyond its scope to train you comprehensively in how to use Adobe software. You need to undertake some training via the many various free and paid-for sources – personal, books, and online. Of course, come back here to ask for help when you get stuck on a specific problem.

If you have the skill you could take JPGs of the InDesign pages into Photoshop and create those effects there.

You can Google tutorials.

Or use some generative A.I. service - you should be able to upload JPEG to be used in the mockup.
