Question

How to place multiple mp4 for publish online so they loop and appear like a GIFs?

I saw a "publish online" InDesign presentation which has multiple mp4 videos on one page playing on loop and simultaneously. So they look like a GIFs - no video controls, just looping video. I'm always using GIFs for this but want to move for mp4 since those files a lighter and more hi-res. Tried to place them as media file, adjusting settings for "loop" and "play on page load", also combining them on a "timing" setting. But that doesn't work - they still look like video files which you need to click on to play. Help pleaseeee.

Here is a suggestion. Create your animated GIF, and upload to a web accessible location. Create an html iframe using the url of uploaded gif. In Indesign, Object > Insert HTML, inserting iframe code. Then publish online.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't work for some reason. I uploaded a short mp4 to my dropbox and put a direct link for it via Object > Insert HTML, it has no preview and after publishing online appears like a text link...
