Somehow the control panel in InDesign CS6 got rearranged. Is it possible to move things around in the control panel? For example, the menu/options for fonts & font attributes used to be on the left and is now to the right of center on the control panel. Nothing is missing, it’s just rearranged.
We saw a Customize option but could not find a way to be able to move the menus/options on the control panel.
The Control Panel shows so many attributes. It divides them roughly in half: Either font attibutes first or paragraph attributes first. When in the Type tool, see the icon buttons on the upper left of the Control panel? See the A character formatting button versus the ¶ paragraph formatting button? Also, the Control panel has the ability to be customized by clicking on the gear icon on the right end of the panel. There is where you turn on or off the visibility/inclusion of various features.
