I have a document that the client insits it has top navigation on each page, is there a way to make this accesible so the people on screen reader dont have read it every page, it is created in indesign and I know I have to fix in acrobat and I can't seem to find the answer for this.

Any help appreciated

You could have it on the first page and then on the Parent Page for all the other pages. I have found that items on Parent Pages don't come through in my ADA PDFs.

I'll give that a try, although I have had errors in accesability testing in Acrobat even before I goto the next stage through Pac 2024 which is the way or client tests any PDFs we send to them.

Thanks anyway

I’m dealing with this as well. Learning that anything interactive will be read by screen readers — parent page or not.
Parent pages only auto-artifact static, non-interactive content.
