Question

How to setup the link between InDesign and S3 compatible storage

We're a marketing company and we've just migrated to the cloud using AWS S3 compatible storage. Can the Adobe applications (such as InDesign) be connected to alternative 3rd party cloud storage providers, specifically s3 or s3 compatible Object storage solutions? And if so, how do we set that up in Adobe? Our storage provider isn't able to help because they don't have experience with Adobe and no one from Adobe has been able to help us with this issue. Thanks for any help!

Also, you may want to check out Silicon Connector:

https://www.siliconpublishing.com/connector/

They don't list S3 or AWS among their supported platforms, and I'm not sure you need any third-party solution for S3 support in InDesign. But they also create custom solutions if needed.

Connected in what way? How do t=you see using this?

You might consider looking up AWS's business cases for using their services with Adobe. (just search for AWS and Adobe and you will find information).

We're trying to link the image assets in InDesign that are saved in our S3 cloud storage without having to download them locally.
